My name is Orian Johnson. I’ve been dabbling in herbs for a number of years. As a single parent rearing my son, Tyson since 1986, I soon realized that antibiotics were not working too well and started down the path of alternative medicines which of course brought me to the door of herbs. It was a door I opened quite easily not only for my son but for myself as well.

I did a number of herb courses but what really beckoned me was the growing of herbs and the connection with the plant world and in particular all those wonderful medicinal herbs. I wanted to have access to their medicine for myself and for my family. I also wanted to have some control as to their handling and quality. I had a deep desire to see them in their true physical form, to cultivate them, to smell them and to experience them on a very personal and spiritual level. I needed to know them from seed to full bloom and seed again.

I met my husband, Gerry in 1998 and we started our first herb garden together. It became a very large garden surpassing all our expectations.  It was a co-creation with nature and with each other.  

I have fallen in love with so many of these herbs and there will always be those very special ones that I will want to have with me in whatever garden I have.

I began making herbal products from my garden and there was such a surplus I started marketing them. Today I supplement my garden herbs with herbs I gather from the wild. I personally select them making sure they are in prime condition before processing them at home. I make small batches at a time, delivering I believe as fresh a product as I possibly can. I hope you will agree.
